My decades in local media have positioned me to support media organizations. I recently helped one of America's largest newspaper groups save thousands of dollars by renegotiating various news service contracts. I've also done webinar workshops for Online Media Campus, written op-ed columns for America's Newspapers and more on subjects as varied as "what makes something newsworthy," and best practices to work effectively with public notice advertisers. I actively support and advise on legislation to help local news organizations succeed.

I love to help authors. I’ve done everything from conceptual manuscript reviews to line-by-line copy editing. As executive director of the Ohio News Media Association I took a sleeves-up approach to government relations. We accomplished great things in an environment that isn’t positive for news media these days and were respected by all sides.
